I`m an aspiring screenwriter, blogger and professional editor. I also co-own 17 West Productions, a Toronto based company that produces short films such as Playing Through.
My number one passion in life is writing. Whether it`s fueling my addiction to screenwriting or writing a new blog post, I simply can`t get enough. As a blogger, I regularly update a site about movies, screenwriting & independent films called The Athletic Nerd. It`s all about the movies that inspire the aspiring filmmaker.
People Tales is an extension of that site. A companion blog about the wonderful uniqueness of a perfect stranger.
Each and every day writers observe the people around them in extraordinary ways. In every writer`s mind there is a stable of moments and characters that greatly influence the stories they want to tell. This blog will delve deeper into what makes a people tale stick and how a writer draws on them for inspiration.
